Ireland

Is it too cheesy to say that you’ll feel lucky when you realize how affordable a tour in Ireland can be? Well, that’s a price we’re willing to pay to keep your Irish eyes smiling! Terrible jokes aside, we want you to know that our Ireland tour is consistently less expensive than the rest of Europe because Ireland helps you stretch your travel dollar. Ireland is the closest European destination to the U.S., air taxes to Ireland are lower, and tourism is Ireland’s #1 industry. These factors amount to a tour that lacks none of the thrills of the rest of Europe but foregoes the sticker shock. Because of Ireland’s size, you’ll also be pleasantly surprised at how much of it you’ll see on just a weeklong tour without feeling rushed or spread too thin. Take your time on a spectacular tour you can afford to enjoy!

A few of our favorite things to do in Ireland, soaking up tradition, beauty and history!

Blarney Castle: Beware this site’s effects on chatty ensemble members! Climb to the ramparts of Blarney Castle to kiss the famous Blarney Stone, which promises the gift of eloquence. Enjoy learning what all the talk is about! You'll spend your day exploring the location of this distinctly Irish tradition, including a chance to bring some Blarney home with you from the shop at Blarney Woolen Mills. We're not sure if the stone really works, but when in Ireland...

Cliffs of Moher: For a natural wonder, visit the wild and iconic Cliffs of Moher on Ireland’s rugged western coast. The ocean’s own handiwork, six miles of rough-hewn cliffs plunge into the Atlantic from heights of up to 668 feet. On a cloudy day, these views offer unrivaled mystery and brooding wonder; on a sunny day, the cliffs clamor with majestic sea sounds and brilliant light. This site is a powerful showcase of Ireland's natural beauty.

Muckross House and Gardens: Muckross House and Gardens is just one of many sites that demonstrate the painstakingly preserved history of Ireland. The site is situated on the shores of Muckross Lake, against the spectacular backdrop of Killarney National Park. Victorian architecture and meticulously groomed gardens lead you into the house itself, where you can see the contrast between Victorian classes: The Victorian manor house features elegantly furnished rooms portraying the lifestyles of the landed gentry, while the basement quarters show the working conditions of the servants employed in the house. The site marries fascinating history inside with beautiful natural views outdoors.
