Michael Shasberger, Artistic Director of the Oahu Church Choir Festival, comes from Denver, CO where he is Minister of Music at Augustana Lutheran Church, the music director of the Augustana Chancel and Chamber Choirs, Musica Sacra Chamber Orchestra, and the Artistic Director of the Denver Bach Society.
He is active as a conductor, educator, composer and singer, and has considerable experience as a performer in professional opera, oratorio and musical theater.
Shasberger earned his bachelors degree in music from St. Olaf College and holds a masters and doctorate from Redlands University and the University of Southern California, respectively.
